HUGE CCPS congratulations to FRYSC coordinators Eva Miller at Justice, Kristi Carter at Shearer, and Whitney Snell at RDC on being chosen to be part of the FRYSC IMPACT Report Spotlight for 2024!
The Division of Family Resource and Youth Services Centers received 887 submissions from FRYSC centers across Kentucky and only 79 were selected for the Spotlight. The Spotlight is sent to stakeholders, legislators, and schools across Kentucky.
“This honor not only demonstrates a passion to work with families and students but also the ability to measure outcomes for said services, programs, and activities,” said Lisa McKenzie, Region 10 program manager. “Thank you for all the work you did last year in Clark County, especially with the thoughtful programming you brought in for students. This is a great honor to be chosen, and it is well deserved!”
The Justice FRC was chosen to be spotlighted for its partnership with First Baptist Church at North Highland Street on the Read to Succeed program, and Shearer and RDC in health/dental with the Big Smiles Dental program.
It is highly unusual for one school to be chosen per county, much less three. It is no secret that our CCPS FRYSCs are among Kentucky’s best. We are proud to celebrate Whitney Snell, Eva Miller, and Kristi Carter for this phenomenal honor.
